Our vision is of a place where local people of all ages can come together, feel part of our community, learn from each other and celebrate our remarkable heritage.
We want to give the Caerphilly Miners back to the community!

THANK YOU AND FAREWELL ROB!!!! ❤️❤️
We’re really sad to have to say farewell to one of our wonderful stewards. Rob has volunteered for 2 days a week the last 4 years, keeping the building going, helping the Craft and Chat, the Dance and Seated Dance, Basic Skills learners, Elderberries and film club. He’s also been a Trustee, member of our Finance and Health and Safety Committees, and our fire safety office. We’ll all remember him for his warmth and many kindnesses as well as his practical skills. We wish him well and hope that he will stay connected.🤝
We're looking for trustee volunteers who can share the responsibility of governing our charity and direct how it's managed and run. We want to steer our charity in the best possible direction and put the needs of our community first. Ideally we're looking for trustees with a financial, marketing or business background.
We're looking for steward volunteers to help at our Centre. The duties are covered in the poster and full training will be given. We'd love to hear from you even if you can only spare a few hours a week. By volunteering at our Centre you'll be supporting our community by helping us to deliver hybrid activities from our Centre.
We're looking for volunteers to help support our children's gardening workshops throughout the rest of the year. We have 2 gardening groups for foundation and junior age groups which will run the 2nd and last Saturday of the month during term time and Wed/ Thurs mornings in the school holidays from 10.30-12.30. You'll be assisting children with gardening and craft activities and with general clearing up at the end of a workshop. Please look at the list of workshop dates for both groups and get in touch with us if you can help with any of them.
