Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Sheltered Housing is pleased to be working in partnership with the Elderberries Group of Caerphilly Miners’ Centre for the Community on a project for tenants and the Group’s members to design and make individual Christmas trees up to a maximum size of 30cms (12 inches).
The trees can be knitted, sewn or crocheted or created simply by using any household objects and can either be free standing or a decoration to hang on a Christmas tree.
If you would like to take part in this project and see your creation appear across social media and our websites, please let your Sheltered Housing Officer know and have your creations ready by 7th December 2020. Caerphilly Miners’ Centre can then arrange to photograph your creation so we can showcase the work of all our entrants.
