Our vision is of a place where local people of all ages can come together, feel part of our community, learn from each other and celebrate our remarkable heritage.
We want to give the Caerphilly Miners back to the community!

Art Pilot Course
Have you always wanted to paint?
Or perhaps to brush up on your creative skills?
If so, why not join our March Art Pilot.

On Friday mornings throughout March we will be holding virtual Art Classes and we welcome anyone with an interest in art.
Hayley Yeoman is our resident art teacher and will support you through the pilot. It is also a great opportunity to meet new friends and to get creative together.

The pilot will begin on Friday March 5th (9.30-11.00) and run for four weeks. The course is free of charge.
The course will explore:
- Complementary colours
- Mark Making
- Zentangles
- Continuous lines.
And it will be run on Zoom (hosted by the Miners’ Centre).

All you need is access to Zoom (computer, laptop, iPad, tablet or phone), an email address, and to sign up in advance. We can help with any technical issues.

We have prepared an art pack for £10 which includes all the materials you need for the classes: a pencil, biro, water-colours, pencil sharpener, eraser, art paper and lesson plans. If you would like to buy an art pack, please contact Katherine.
