Events
Here's a list of events that we're running from either our Centre or via Zoom:
Childrens' Christmas Craft Workshops
3th, 4th, 10th and 11th of December

The Childrens' Christmas Craft Workshops will run on 3/4 and 10/11 Dec from 4-5pm.
​
Every child will be give a box of crafts in a 'Takeaway pizza box!' This will contain a crayon pack, glue stick, Sellotape and all the materials and embellishments required to make their 3 crafts. The crafts the children will create are: Santa hanging tree decorations, Christmas party hats and Paper plate wreaths. They will then follow instructions via a QR code on their smartphone or by the Ipads that the Centre will provide on every table. Santa will give a special virtual Christmas message and every child will receive a Santa goody bag containing a chocolate lolly, drink carton and a hanging keepsake decoration.

Covid safety guidelines are put in place eg social distancing, masks worn for over 11 yrs olds, 1 adult per family with max of 4 per table

Visit Santa at the Miners
SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO CAERPHILLY!

Tickets £5 each
Come and visit Santa in his grotto at the Miners' Centre. Your child can spend 10 mins with Santa, receive a gift and enjoy a photo opportunity.

Christmas Tree Celebration

First of 4 Christmas Events for the Elderberries. We’re joining with the Sheltered Schemes across the county with a Christmas Tree Celebration – trees can be knitted, crocheted, made of paper or other craft materials, wood or recycled materials. The entries will be posted on our website in a Virtual Christmas Tree celebration.

Second Elderberries Christmas Event involving making a funny Christmas Hat out of any materials. We will also have a Christmas Quiz or some poems.
